Secret Hideout is an award-winning film and television production company founded over a decade ago by writer/producer/director Alex Kurtzman.

Alongside Alex Kurtzman, Secret Hideout is led by President of Television Aaron Baiers and President of Film Morgan Earnest. The company is dedicated to creating and developing quality stories in an ever-expanding world of entertainment, Secret Hideout prides itself on being a leader in positing a brighter future through stories that inspire us to create a better world and delivering characters to root for no matter the odds against them. Currently in a multi-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout boldly oversees the entire STAR TREK Universe on Paramount+.

A visionary with a career spanning over 25 years, Kurtzman’s impressive body of work includes an array of renowned franchises in both film and TV. Secret Hideout has produced over 250 episodes of television, including multiple acclaimed television shows outside of the STAR TREK franchise. Beyond STAR TREK, the company recently produced THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, CLARICE and THE COMEY RULE.

In addition to television, Secret Hideout’s prolific and rapidly growing film department is headed by President of Film, Morgan Earnest. The company produced ROB PEACE, written/directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor and starring Ejiofor, Mary J. Blige, Camila Cabello and Jay Will, which premiered at Sundance 2024. 

Upcoming films include RAIN, an adaptation of the Joe Hill novella by the same name, which will shoot in 2025.
